September 20th and 21st at DeFabrique in Utrecht, the second edition of Edgecase took place—two days filled with Kubernetes on & at the edge knowledge, networking, and hands-on workshops. Hosted by Bart Farrell, we had educational talks by the Dutch Ministry of Defence, Chick-fil-A, Vandebron, and many more.
Edgecase started in 2022 to connect developers, engineers, and anyone with a love for working with Kubernetes. The hands-on workshops and presentations allow for active learning about different topics regarding Kubernetes. Those are all about what Kubernetes can do at and on the edge and interesting use cases. Edgecase was born and such a success, we had to go bigger for the 2nd edition!
We expanded with an extensive network area with meet & greet with our partners and many fun things to explore. Attendees could enjoy the VR free-roaming shooter game KubeClash and watch podcast interviews with De Nederlandse Kubernetes Podcast. Also, we introduced a lot of new stuff: the sponsor bingo card, our new stuffed astronaut, new sponsor levels, a VIP dinner, our Swag Bag, and much more.
With over 400 visitors, this edition was not only bigger in content but also in size! 10 sponsors helped us make this edition a reality, together with all the colleagues who helped us out.
